FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an experienced Pipefitter in Tampa, FL to join a fast-growing team serving commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing and related services. The candidate should have a can-do attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer service.

The role involves assisting in piping installation, equipment setting, and collaborating with the Lead Piping Installer, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship across field sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC/mechanical construction experience.
• Experience installing carbon steel, black iron, copper or other piping systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with pipe layout, fitting, cutting, threading, grooving and/or welding.
• Knowledge of HVAC piping systems, including chilled water, hot water, condenser water and hydronic systems.
• Ability to use common pipefitting tools and equipment.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment.
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas.
• Understanding of OSHA and job-site safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction crew.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

This position reports to the local Industrial Production Manager and is responsible for the entire service and sales teams.

Physical Demands
