Job summary

Beck & Pollitzer USA is seeking a skilled Pipefitter for on-site installation, fabrication and maintenance of piping systems in industrial and construction environments. You will read blueprints, measure and assemble pipes, test systems and collaborate with welders and other trades to ensure safe, compliant installations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, proven pipefitting experience, and strong knowledge of piping materials and installation techniques.

  • Knowledge of pipefitting tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layout and installation.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools.
  • Assemble and install pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures according to project requirements.
  • Inspect and test piping systems for leaks, pressure integrity, and proper operation.
  • Install supports, hangers, and brackets for piping systems.
  • Collaborate with welders, plumbers, and other trades on-site.
  • Follow all rigging and hoisting procedures when handling heavy pipe materials.
  • Maintain tools and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues or installation challenges.

Job description

Summary of Primary Functions:

The Pipefitter is responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used for water, gas, steam, and other industrial processes. This role requires working from blueprints and adhering to strict safety standards to ensure systems are installed efficiently and safely on construction sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
