Job summary

CAM Industrial Solutions is seeking a skilled pipefitter/industrial fabrication professional to layout, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts. The role involves reading blueprints and specifications, fabricating stainless and carbon steel pipe, installing valves and supports, and performing testing and basic rigging in a collaborative industrial environment.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in industrial construction/maintenance and hands-on experience with stainless and carbon steel

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Experience fabricating with stainless and carbon steel pipe required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, ISO's, field installations, material takeoffs, field sketches and understand specifications.
• Fabricate and install stainless and carbon steel pipe, valves, and related components.
• Miter and fabricate all pipe.
• Install valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers and supports.
• Steam and heat tracing.
• Use beveling machine.
• Minor valve maintenance and repair.
• Test piping systems and perform leak tests.
• Basic rigging and operation of pneumatic and electric tools.
• Oxygen and acetylene cutting.
• Additional responsibilities may be required.

Position Summary

Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts. Fabricate, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, ISO's, filed installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications
• Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, stainless steel weld pipe
• Miter and fabricate all pipe
• Installs valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers and supports
• Steam and heat tracing
• Use beveling machine
• Minor valve maintenance and repair
• Test piping systemsOxygen and acetylene cutting
• Basic rigging
• Operation of pneumatic and electric tools
• Leak test tubing systems
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
• Experience fabricated - working with stainless steel and carbon steel pipe, required.
