Job summary

Signature Labor Services is seeking experienced pipefitters for a Maryville, TN opportunity. Earn $27-$31 per hour (DOE) with weekly pay, full benefits, and a $300 sign-on bonus. Bring your pipefitting experience and tools. You’ll work on commercial/industrial pipe systems, adhering to safety standards and site requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial/industrial pipefitting.
• Must have own basic hand tools.
• OSHA 10 OR 30 certification preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass drug screen and all required background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications using tools such as saws and pipe threaders.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering or threading joints.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets and welding equipment.
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clams, tools or welding equipment.
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience Commercial/Industrial Pipefitting
• Must have own basic hand tools
• OSHA 10 OR 30 PREFERRED
• Work at heights as required
• Complete tasks as assigned by the site supervisor
• Perform all tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision
• Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Complete all assignments requiring physical activity for a full shift
• Work all hours assigned.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Must pass drug screen and all required background checks.
