OVERVIEW

Archer Western, a member of the Walsh Group, is currently seeking a Pipefitter for the Flowery Branch WRF Project in Flowery Branch, GA.

The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related components, including metal, plastic, ceramic, and composite materials; install plumbing fixtures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembles and installs piping and tubing systems to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage, and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handles and moves materials and equipment used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 Years of verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of measurements for tools and machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with safety policies and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
