Job summary

Parise Mechanical in Tonawanda is seeking a pipefitter/steamfitter for commercial HVAC/R construction. The role involves fabricating, installing, and maintaining piping for steam, hot water, and refrigerant lines, with emphasis on high-pressure systems and precision welding.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using welding torches, pipe cutters and saws, testing for leaks, and retrofitting for efficiency while meeting deadlines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabricating, installing and maintaining complex piping systems (steam, hot water, refrigerant) for HVAC/R.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow piping layouts precisely.
• Knowledge of high-pressure systems, welding and pipe assembly.
• Commitment to safety and coordination with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install and maintain piping systems for commercial/industrial HVAC units.
• Read and interpret blueprints; assemble with welding torches and cutters.

Pipefitters/steamfitters needed for commercial HVAC/R construction company. Must be able to install, fabricate, and maintain complex piping systemssuch as steam, hot water, and refrigerant linesessential for commercial and industrial HVAC units. Able to work with high-pressure systems, welding and assembling pipes to ensure secure, leak-proof infrastructure. Knowledge of mega-press and pro-press are important. Fabricate and install pipe systems; read blueprints; use tools like welding torches, saws, and pipe cutters; test systems for leaks; and retrofit existing systems for improved efficiency all within contract deadlines and with utmost safe practices used at all times.

MOSTLY 1ST SHIFT OCCASIONAL 2ND SHIFT FOR SCHOOLS

Must be reliable, hardworking and able to work well with other trades for coordination. Must work well with co-workers sometimes within confined spaces.
