Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and repair of piping systems across various commercial buildings. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to strict safety protocols at all times. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and possess a strong understanding of various types of piping materials and systems. Responsibilities
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints to understand the specific requirements of each project.
  • Assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems for commercial buildings.
  • Measuring, cutting, grooving, threading, welding, and joining various types of pipes including copper, cast iron, PVC, PEX, etc.
  • Utilizing hand tools and machines to bend pipes as required.
  • Testing piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges for any indications of leaks.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE, keeping the worksite organized and free of hazards.
  • Welding in all positions (standing, kneeling, etc.) as the job demands.
  • Using roll groove machines as required.
  • Sweating and brazing pipes as needed.
