Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced pipefitter to plan and install piping systems per blueprints and specs. Responsibilities include material planning, fabrication, installation, testing, and documentation, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate should bring strong troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, and experience with steam systems and related piping components, plus torch experience and welding as a plus.

Qualifications

• Industrial pipefitting experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Experience with piping system layouts and installation.
• Knowledge of flanges, manways, gaskets, steam traps, and tubing.
• Oxy-acetylene torch experience.
• Experience with valve maintenance and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Pipe welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize pipefitting work using blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and construction documents.
• Calculate material requirements and coordinate work schedules with affected departments.
• Measure, cut, bend, shape, fabricate, thread, solder, and glue piping systems.
• Install and insulate piping systems and related components.
• Perform operating tests on piping systems.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and repair piping-related issues.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work records.
• Maintain tools and equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Support maintenance and operational objectives as needed.
