A government healthcare organization in Bay Pines is seeking a Pipefitter to manage the installation and repair of pipe systems in a complex medical facility. Summary — This position serves as a Pipefitter in an extremely complex medical facility, which is constantly evolving within a highly complex and competitive geographic area.

Frequently works from ladders, scaffolding and platforms and in hard-to-reach areas. Duties involve standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tiring or uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts and carries parts and equipment up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting and carrying over 50 lbs.
Conditions of employment
As a condition of employment, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. EXPERIENCE: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality to perform the work. Evidence demonstrating knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties must be supported by detailed descriptions on your resume. Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.
SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen-out element which appears in the online questionnaire. Those with at least the minimal acceptable qualification are considered for further rating; others are eliminated. The remaining eligibles are rated against the Job Elements:
Experience may include paid/unpaid work, including volunteer service through National Service programs. You will receive credit for qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Note: A full year of work is considered 35-40 hours per week. Part-time experience will be credited based on hours worked. Indicate duties and hours clearly on your resume if seeking credit.
