Job summary

Structured Trades is seeking experienced commercial pipefitters for ongoing mechanical construction projects in the Austin area. This full-time role offers steady work, competitive pay, and long-term career opportunities with a respected mechanical contractor.

A $400 sign-on bonus is available to eligible applicants. Responsibilities include installing piping systems, boilers, chillers, pumps and valves, reviewing blueprints, and using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial piping or plumbing
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Experience with direct expansion cooling systems
• brazing copper lines and fitting piping using brazing techniques

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain piping systems including carbon and stainless steel
• Install boilers, chillers, pumps and valves
• Review blueprints to ensure correct installation
• Utilize hand and power tools to assemble and install components
• Inspect systems to ensure correct installation and operation
• Work with split-system components as needed
