Job summary

NANA Construction is seeking experienced Pipefitters for rotational work at Red Dog Mine in Alaska. This role involves assembling, installing, and maintaining complex pipe systems in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 10 years pipefitter experience.
• Minimum five years of pipefitter experience.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience lifting heavy pipe spools, pumps, motors.
• Industrial piping craft experience.
• Ability to interpret isometric drawings and P&ID.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Steel-toed boots; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Able to pass TSA checkpoint for travel.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent or ten (10) years Pipefitter experience
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Pipefitter required
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Experience with lifting and setting heavy lift pipe spools, pumps, motors, and structural pipe supports
• Industrial piping craft experience
• Knowledge of Victaulic, HDPE Fusion, ABS, and Carbon Steel piping
• Ability to interpret isometric drawings and P&ID
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
• Steel toed boots required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record preferred
• Ability to pass TSA security checkpoint for travel
