Qualifications

• 1+ year warehouse or forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Verify quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products for shipment and load trucks.
• Pull and verify order accuracy for shipment from pipe yard inventory, including inter-company orders.
• Stage and prepare orders for shipment with neat packaging.
• Separate material to shipping points, load outgoing shipments, and shipping orders on common carriers.
• Organize pallets and stacks in the pipe yard and stage material properly.
• Complete all shipping paperwork timely and notify salespeople of shortages.
• Count, weigh, measure or examine packaging and contents for conformance to specs.
• Cross-train in fabrication shop to groove, thread, and cut pipe; compare packed items with orders and data.
• Wrap and identify skids and load onto correct trucks; assist with putting pipe and stock away.
