Job summary

DNOW in Tioga, ND is seeking a reliable yard worker to maintain inventory, restock materials, and load/unload trailers. You will operate forklifts (5k and 10k) and move items around the pipe yard and conex, supporting safe, efficient yard operations.

The role requires 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, forklift certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will work both independently and as part of a team and participate in on-call shifts as needed,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience operating heavy equipment.
• Forklift certification for 5k and 10k forklifts.
• Experience working in a pipe yard or warehouse is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inventory and restock work over trailers
• Operate forklift (5k or 10K) to load/unload trailers
• Restocks materials in conex and on pipe racks
• Operate yard truck for the purpose of loading and unloading trailers
• Create cut orders for return to stock
• Check-in incoming orders to include verifying materials match paperwork and putting them away in a timely manner
• Notify Yard Lead of special order materials returned on trailers and not used via smartsheets check in sheet or another way
• Perform spotter duties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to work an on-call schedule and be available for callouts during that time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma and/or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience with heavy equipment operation
• Forklift certification on 5k and 10k forklifts
• Experience working in a pipe yard or warehouse preferred
• Follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.
• Ability to make and be accountable for decisions
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, and organizational skills
• Possess integrity and a dedication to results
• Maintain a good working relationship with all Branch employees
