Job summary

DNOW is seeking a Pipe Yard Specialist in New York to manage inventory and restock incoming materials. You will operate forklifts, load and unload trailers, and coordinate with yard staff in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, valid driver’s license, and prior heavy equipment experience. On-call flexibility and a path for career growth are offered within a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience with heavy equipment operation.
• Forklift certification on 5k and 10k forklifts.
• Experience in pipe yard or warehouse preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and restock work over trailers
• Operate forklift (5k or 10K) to load/unload trailers
• Restocks materials in conex and on pipe racks
• Operate yard truck for loading and unloading trailers
• Create cut orders for return to stock
• Check-in incoming orders and verify paperwork
• Notify Yard Lead of special order materials
• Perform spotter duties
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Perform other duties as assigned
• On-call availability and callouts schedule
