LINK Staffing is hiring Pipe Yard Helpers for a leading industrial facility in Houston. If you're dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, we want to hear from you.

This full-time temp-to-hire role offers overtime opportunities, up to 60 hours per week, and weekly pay through LINK Staffing. You will support yard operations, secure trucks and racks, load and unload pipe, and assist across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (proof must be provided).
• Experience in pipe yard or industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with securing trucks and yard racks under supervision.
• Operate hand tools and equipment including grinders, hammers, pressure washers, and brooms.
• Support multiple departments as needed and assist with various yard operations.
• Load, unload, and move pipe, materials, tools, and accessories.
• Assist with hydrostatic testing, painting support, and general production activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately, safely, and on schedule.

Job Highlights

• Pay: Competitive hourly rate ($16.00/hr for day shift/ $18.00/hr for night shift)
• Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required (proof must be provided)
• Previous pipe yard experience required
• Pipe grinding experience is a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check
• Must complete a required 5-hour safety orientation
• Current resume required
• Must own and wear steel-toe boots
• Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and changing weather conditions
