Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some mechanical experience.
• Multi-thickness welding experience.
• Overhead crane/industrial lifts experience required.
• Proficient with welding tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to read simple blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Able to work a 10-hour shift.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Preferred: Technical school or vocational training.
• Preferred: Manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Preferred: Experience setting up and troubleshooting welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust welding equipment (voltage, amperage, gas flow, wire speed).
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot machines.
• Cut, punch, and weld pipe.
• Properly operate saws, punches, welders and other machinery.
• Read simple blueprints.
• Use calipers and measuring tools.
• Cross-train for other positions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work area.
• Follow ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
• Perform other duties as required.
