Job summary

FabLogix in Duncan, SC is seeking skilled Welders to support fabrication of piping systems and mechanical assemblies. You will perform high-quality GTAW (TIG) welds in accordance with drawings, WPS, and customer specs, reading isometric drawings and spool sheets, while upholding safety and production standards.

The role requires 2+ years of pipe welding experience, ability to pass 6G weld tests, and proficiency with GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of pipe welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and WPS documents.
• Must pass welding tests including 2" carbon monster coupon in 6G and 2" schedule 10 stainless steel test in 6G.

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW (TIG) welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel piping.
• Complete welds in accordance with WPS, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, spool sheets, and welding symbols.
• Prepare, fit, and weld pipe to required specifications.
• Perform additional welding processes including GMAW and FCAW as needed.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain proper use of welding equipment and tools.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop protocols.
• Communicate with supervisors, QC, and fitters to ensure production flow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
