Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled pipe welder to join our Alabama fabrication team. You will perform pipe welding using GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and SAW on various materials, read blueprints, and ensure workmanship meets ISO standards.

The role requires a pipe welding certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have pipe welding certification.
• Ability to weld with GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and SAW.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Weld on various materials using required welding processes.
• Read blueprints and engineering specs to determine setup and sequence.
• Inspect and test welded joints for quality per procedures.
• Set up and operate welding machines; adjust valves and flames as needed.
• Maintain clean work area; follow safety and ISO procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
