Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking an industrial pipe welder to work at a data center in Holly Ridge, LA and in a shop in West Monroe, LA. Welders will perform TIG and STICK welds, testing on Schedule 10 for stainless and Schedule 80 for carbon. Visual and X-ray tests apply to welds.

Role involves small bore piping, field routing, socket and butt welds, carbon steel up to sched 80, and basic ISO piping sketches. Candidates will work five days a week on 10 hour shifts, with some weeks 6 or 7 days.

Qualifications

• Must pass 6G weld test.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Experience with TIG and stick welding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and STICK welding tests.
• Welds on Schedule 10 stainless and Schedule 80 carbon pipe.
• Run small bore piping (≤2 inches) for air facilities.
• Field route piping and perform socket and butt welds.

Job description

Trillium Construction is hiring industrial pipe welder to work at a data center in Holly Ridge, LA and work in a shop setting in West Monroe, LA.

Candidates will perform a tig and stick weld test. Candidates will test on schedule 10 for stainless and schedule 80 for carbon. Welds will go through visual test and X-ray test. Candidates will be running mainly small bore pipe less than 2" for air supplies. Candidates will have to field route the piping. Candidates will perform socket welds and butt welds. Candidates will be working with carbon steel up to schedule 80. Candidates may be asked to perform simple ISO hand sketch of the piping.

Candidates will work minimum 5 days a week. 10 hour shifts. Some weeks will be 6 or 7 days of work. The duration of the project will be 2 months. Pay is up to $37/hr for fitters and $39/hr for pipe welders. Per diem is $120/all 7 days as long as all required shifts are worked.

• Candidates must pass 6G weld test.
• Candidates must wear basic PPE and tools of the trade. Welders will also need to provide their stinger, ground, tig rig, and welding hood.
• Candidates must be able to pass pre employment screenings.
