Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking Pipe Welders for a 3-month project in Franklin, IN. This role features 6x10 work weeks at a new roofing shingles manufacturing plant, outdoor exposure in hot conditions.

TIG welding on carbon steel pipe to 2-6 inches and rings. Candidates must pass a 6-inch Schedule 80 carbon steel pipe weld test (TIG root and 7018 fill/cap), be comfortable working at heights, and pass a 5-panel drug screen.

Qualifications

• Pass 6" Schedule 80 carbon steel pipe weld test with TIG root and 7018 fill/cap.
• Comfortable working from heights and outdoors in hot conditions.
• Pass a 5-panel drug screen and have OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain it.
• Wear proper harness, lanyard, and level 2 hard hat with chin strap.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld carbon steel pipe (2–6 in) and rings on pneumatic lines.
• Work on a 6x10 schedule at an outdoor/indoor construction site.

Job description

Trillium Construction is seeking Pipe Welders for a 3-month project in Franklin, IN. Pay is up to $36/hr with $120/day in per diem for all 7. Working 6x10s at a new construction roofing shingles manufacturing plant. Half the site is outside, so it is hot conditions. Candidates will be TIG welding 2-6 in carbon steel and rings on pneumatic 5,6, and 8 inch pipe.

• Will need to pass a 6-inch Schedule 80 carbon steel pipe weld test with a TIG (GTAW) root and 7018 stick fill/cap.
• Need to be comfortable working from heights.
• Must pass a 5 panel drug screen and have OSHA 10 or ability to get it.
• Must have harness, lanyard, level 2 hard hat with chin strap.
