Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced welder for a contract role in Findlay, OH, performing piping installation and fabrication with carbon and stainless steel. The position operates on a 72-hour workweek with per diem benefits and requires strict adherence to blueprints and safety standards.

Responsibilities include cutting, beveling, clamping, grinding, and site cleanup, with tests including TIG root/HOT 7018 for carbon and stainless steels. Remote option is available for this contract position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pipe welding experience.
• Welding carbon and stainless steel.
• Must pass weld tests including TIG root and TIG 7018 tests.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install piping systems made from carbon and stainless steel.
• Cut, bevel, and clamp pipes.
• Join pipes, valves, and fittings according to blueprints.
• Operate a grinder efficiently.
• Perform site cleanup and various other job duties as needed.
