Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced Welder to join the Operations team. You will prepare and weld parts per engineering drawings, perform NDT inspections, and ensure quality in a safety-critical aerospace environment.

Requirements include 4+ years of GTAW welding, ability to read drawings, and lifting up to 50 lbs. This on-site role supports manufacturing and supply chain operations in a demanding, safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preparing weld joints—cleaning, fitting, tacking, and positioning parts per drawings and process documentation.
• Must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and work instructions.
• Self-sufficient, self-starter and driven.
• 4+ years of GTAW welding in a manufacturing production environment.
• Demonstrated experience with NDT-quality welds (RT, UT, PAUT/AUT).
• Familiar with non-destructive testing and quality policies.
• Welding on components subject to pressure loads (e.g., piping).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a weld test (1F,3F,2G,3G,6G).
• U.S. person status as required by regulations.
