Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in pipefitting, fabricating, and welding.
• Experience pipe welding to code is preferred.
• Must be a high school or trade school graduate or have a GED.
• Ability to obtain welding certification.

Responsibilities

• Fuse metal pipe segments together using welding processes listed.
• Weld pipe components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
• Monitor fitting, burning and welding to avoid overheating, warping or distortion.
• Perform normal cutting and grinding tasks.
• Ability to fit own pipe together.
