Job summary

Howe, Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder in Sioux Falls, SD. You will fabricate and weld various metals to meet project specifications, reading blueprints and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities include welding aluminum, steel, galvanized and stainless materials using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW. Applicants should have 5+ years of pipe welding experience and a 6G/stainless certification or the ability to obtain it after hire. This role requires safety awareness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pipe welding and metal fabrication.
• 6G and stainless certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld aluminum, steel, galvanized, and stainless-steel materials.
• Utilize SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Be willing to stick and TIG weld.
• Prepare materials by grinding, cutting, drilling, and tapping prior to welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for accurate fabrication.
• Maintain welding techniques to achieve high-quality welds.
• Work in the shop and on field job sites as needed.
• Maintain tools and a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Collaborate with team and take on additional duties.
