Job summary

brownandrootexternal is seeking a skilled pipe welder for 6G pipe welding across multiple positions. You will read blueprints and welding symbols, bevel and grind pipe edges, and inspect welds for safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have TIG (GTAW) experience on carbon steel and stainless steel, 3–5+ years in industrial settings, and a commitment to Zero Harm / KeepSafe culture. NCCER certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 6G pipe welding experience across multiple positions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
• Experience beveling and grinding pipe edges before welding.
• Inspect welds for quality, safety, and structural integrity.
• Experience installing fabricated pipe and equipment.
• Commitment to jobsite safety and PPE requirements.
• 3 to 5+ years of commercial or industrial pipe welding preferred, not required.
• NCCER certification preferred, not required.
• Ability to pass a 6G welding certification test.
• Strong TIG (GTAW) welding on carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Ability to work in a physically active construction environment.
• Commitment to safety procedures and keeping Zero Harm / KeepSafe culture.
