Job summary

Latitude Inc is seeking skilled Pipe Welders for on-site roles in Laurel, MD. This position requires strong TIG welding experience on carbon and stainless steel process piping, with hands-on work in demanding industrial settings.

Candidates must be able to pass ASME Section IX tests (including X-ray requirements) and have working knowledge of ASME codes. MIG and stick welding skills, plus a valid driver’s license, are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in industrial environments.
• Ability to pass ASME Section IX pipe welding tests (including X-ray requirements).
• Experience with carbon steel and stainless-steel piping systems.
• Familiarity with ASME codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and stick welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel process piping.
• Complete butt welds and socket welds across a variety of pipe sizes and thicknesses.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment based on materials and job site conditions.
• Execute welds in multiple positions, including elevated work (lifts/scaffolding).
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Support work across different trades or tasks as needed on-site.
