You will lead the design direction, review constructability, and mentor staff while collaborating with field and fabrication teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You bring 5+ years in pipefitting or piping and hydronics, strong decision-making, and a passion for innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Pipefitting or experience with Piping and Hydronics preferred.
• Knowledge of drafting and design techniques and the ability to convey information clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions regarding complexities and methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to the department team to achieve high quality, productivity, and safe standards.
• Ensure compliance with production schedules, process quality, efficiency standards, budget, inventory, and data reporting.
• Facilitate improvement through team involvement, training, and education on tasks and safety issues.
• Assemble pricing comparisons for material optimization and selection.
• Review contract drawings for design intent and constructability prior to VDC/BIM Kick-off.
• Review shop operations for best practices in workflow, materials handling, and productivity tracking.
