Job summary

Baker Construction in the United States is seeking an Area Superintendent to oversee profitable installation of project work, directing teams and coordinating other trades.

You will be responsible for safety, planning, cost and productivity, maintain SQP culture, and uphold client relationships on large or medium projects. Travel up to 15% is required as per job listing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years related experience; or 10 years related experience.
• Line & Grade experience.
• Foreman experience; craft certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project work within a specified area.
• Execute work plans and coordinate across trades.
• Oversee direct reports and monitor progress.
• Ensure a safe work environment and SQP culture.
• Participate in training and certifications.

Education

Summary

The Area Superintendent oversees profitable installation of project work by directing co-workers and interfacing, coordinating and directing other trades. Responsible for a specified area of a large project, or entire small or medium project. Responsible for safety, planning, cost and productivity, while perpetuating an SQP culture. Responsible for client relationship.
