Factory Engineering in Austin, TX is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to support the design and analysis of piping systems for manufacturing utilities and occupied spaces. You will own pipe stress work from concept through fabrication-ready designs, lead analyses, and collaborate with piping, structural, and process teams to ensure code-compliant, reliable deliverables.

• Minimum 5 years of pipe stress engineering experience in chemical or high-tech manufacturing.
• PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Expert knowledge of ASME piping codes, ASTM standards, and related codes.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as SME on pipe stress and pipe support design per codes and practices.
• Review P&IDs and Thermal Input Sheets to determine analysis scope.
• Perform piping flexibility and computational stress analyses.
• Select spring hangers, expansion joints, and other supports; annotate drawings.
• Generate BOMs for supports and joints and review submittals.
