QPS Employment Group is hiring a QC Inspector Pipe for a position in Kaukauna, WI. The role is on the 2nd shift with hours from 5:00pm to 3:00am and is a direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing visual inspections, testing data, and reporting results to the QC Manager. Ideal candidates will read a ruler, demonstrate strong math skills, and be able to lift 30–50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Attention to detail/thoroughness/neatness.
• Ability to read a ruler.
• Good math skills, working with dimensions.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Thorough, accurate, and timely reporting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent attendance.
• Self-motivated; ability to work independently.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and handle situations appropriately.
• Ability to work 9-10 hours on feet.
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds, squat, twist, bend, climb ladders, etc.
• Use basic office equipment, vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints and specifications
• Conduct visual inspections
• Conduct other QC operations in compliance with customer specifications
• Monitor/observe operations to ensure compliance of production specifications
• Perform, monitor, and record test data
• Prepare test reports
• Identify and record any product quality problems
• Report inspection results to QC Manager
