Job summary

Etna Supply is seeking an Inside Pipe Puller in Grand Rapids, MI. This role pulls, packages, stacks, and loads pipe and related materials for customer pickup and delivery. You will unload shipments, verify contents, stock products, and maintain an organized warehouse and yard.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, following safety rules, and learning pipe rack layouts and bin locations. Prior Hi-Lo experience is required, with strong attention to detail and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of warehouse/shipping experience.
• Experience operating a Hi-Lo/forklift is required and 4-directional capability is preferred.
• Ability to learn RF scanning, barcode equipment, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive experience for internal and external customers.
• Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
• Learn pipe rack layout, bin locations, and stocked products.
• Assist customers and coworkers with locating and loading pipe.
• Stock counter pipe bins and place materials correctly.
• Accurately pull, package, and stage orders for pickup or delivery.
• Load materials safely and efficiently; unload trucks and receive shipments.
• Inspect incoming shipments for address, branch, quantities, and damage.
• Document shortages or damaged materials on freight bills.
• Use RF scanners and barcode equipment to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Report vendor shipping errors and operate equipment safely.
• Assist yard and other departments as needed.
