Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking General Labor candidates for long-term, temp-to-hire roles in Panama City, FL. Swing shifts including weekends are required. Typical schedule runs 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m., with overtime expected.

Work will span Mill Production, Coating, and Shipping areas. Duties include using grinders, welders, hacksaws, and other tools; employees stay on their feet for long shifts and must pass eligibility criteria.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or higher education preferred.
• 12 months of prior industrial experience in machine operation, construction or production work is preferred, but not required.
• Skilled in general labor tasks and operating basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Mill Production, Coating Department, and Shipping Department.
• Utilize tools such as grinder, welding equipment, hacksaw, and plasma cutter as needed.
• Working on 10- to 12-hour shifts, on your feet for long periods.

Job description

Long term temp positions. All positions are Temp-to-Hire. Positions range from entry level to skilled.

$19/hour – Weekly Pay

Must be able to work Swing Shift hours along with Work Weekends. Example work schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 a.m. – 4:00/6:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. -2:00/4:00 a.m. OT to be expected!

Position may include but not limited to the following job task:

General Labor position will assist in one of 3 major work areas: Mill Production, Coating Department, and Shipping Department. As General Laborer you may utilize tools such as: 30lb. grinder, welding, quality control, hacksaw, cable, pipe bar, chains, hoist, sledgehammer, pneumatic air tools, crimper devices, plasma cutter, etc.

• $19/hour with Weekly Pay
• Pipe Production/General Labor position is physically demanding and considered highly repetitious motion work.
• The position will require you to be on your feet for 10-hour to 12-hour shifts.

Minimum Eligibility Qualifications...
