M2X Energy Inc. is seeking a Pipe Prep and Tubing Technician to support pipe preparation, tubing installation, and general fabrication in our Rockledge, FL shop.
You will cut, prep, and stage pipe, measure and mark material, and run tubing to drawings, while safely operating band saws, ironworkers, and fabrication equipment. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented candidate who follows drawings, maintains quality, and contributes to production flow.
M2X is seeking a Pipe Prep, Fabrication and Tubing Technician to support pipe preparation, tubing installation, and general fabrication work within the manufacturing shop. This roleis responsible forcutting and prepping pipe,runningand installing tubing, andoperatingshop equipment including band saws and ironworkers. This position plays a key role in feeding downstream welding, assembly, andintegrationwork withaccurate, clean, and on-time fabrication support.
This is a hands-on shop role for someone who can work safely, follow drawings and instructions,maintainquality, and contribute to production flow. The right person should be detail-oriented, mechanically capable, and willing to learnadditionalfabrication equipment and processes over time, includingpossible trainingon a knee mill.
Cut, prep, and stage pipe for fabrication and welding operations
Measure, mark, and prepare material accurately according to drawings, cut lists, and work instructions
Run and install tubing according to drawings, routing requirements, and workmanship standards
Operate band saws, ironworkers, and other fabrication equipment safely and correctly
Deburr, grind, clean, bevel, and prep material for downstream work
Verify parts and materials are correct before cutting or fabricating
Maintain organized material flow and work area control to support production efficiency
Identifyissues early, including bad material, dimensional errors, missing information, or tooling problems
Support fit-up and fabrication readiness for welders, assemblers, and integration teams
Perform basic inspection of completed work for accuracy, completeness, and workmanship
Alwaysmaintainsafe work practices and proper use of PPE
Support continuous improvement in shop organization, tooling, and fabrication flow
Learnadditionalshop equipment and fabrication processes as needed, includingpossible operationof a knee mill
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience ina manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, or industrial shop environment
Ability to read a tape measure and performaccuratemeasuring and marking
Ability to use hand tools, grinders, and basic fabrication equipment safely
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in a hands-on production environment
Ability to follow drawings, cut lists, work instructions, and direction from leads or supervisors
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producingaccuratework
Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic
Experience cutting and preppingpipein a fabrication environment
Experience running tubing and installing tubing systems
Experience operating band saws and ironworkers
Experience with stainless steel material handling and prep
Experience reading fabrication drawings or isometric drawings
Experience with deburring, beveling, and prep for weld-ready material
Interest in learningadditionalfabrication equipment, including a knee mill

This role is basedina manufacturingand fabrication shopenvironment. Work is performed around pipe, tubing, fabrication tools, saws, ironworkers, and other industrial equipment.
