Job summary

M2X Energy Inc. is seeking a Pipe Prep and Tubing Technician to support pipe preparation, tubing installation, and general fabrication in the manufacturing shop at our Rockledge, Florida facility.

Responsibilities include cutting/prepping pipe, running tubing per drawings, operating band saws and ironworkers, and ensuring accurate, on-time fabrication for downstream welding and assembly. Training on additional equipment may be provided as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, or industrial shop environment.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate measuring and marking.
  • Ability to use hand tools, grinders, and basic fabrication equipment safely.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in a hands-on production environment.
  • Ability to follow drawings, cut lists, work instructions, and direction from leads or supervisors.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic.

  • Deburr, grind, clean, bevel, and prep material for downstream work.
  • Verify parts and materials are correct before cutting or fabricating.
  • Maintain organized material flow and work area control to support production efficiency.
  • Identify issues early, including bad material, dimensional errors, missing information, or tooling problems.
  • Support fit-up and fabrication readiness for welders, assemblers, and integration teams.
  • Perform basic inspection of completed work for accuracy, completeness, and workmanship.
  • Always maintain safe work practices and proper use of PPE.
  • Support continuous improvement in shop organization, tooling, and fabrication flow.
  • Learn additional shop equipment and fabrication processes as needed, including possible operation of a knee mill.

Position Summary

This position plays a key role in feeding downstream welding, assembly, and integration work with accurate, clean, and on-time fabrication support.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for cutting and prepping pipe, running and installing tubing, and operating shop equipment including band saws and ironworkers. This position plays a key role in feeding downstream welding, assembly, and integration work with accurate, clean, and on-time fabrication support.
This is a hands-on shop role for someone who can work safely, follow drawings and instructions, maintain quality, and contribute to production flow. The right person should be detail-oriented, mechanically capable, and willing to learn additional fabrication equipment and processes over time, including possible training on a knee mill.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience with deburring, beveling, and prep for weld-ready material
  • Interest in learning additional fabrication equipment, including a knee mill

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing and fabrication shop environment. Work is performed around pipe, tubing, fabrication tools, saws, ironworkers, and other industrial equipment.
