Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years of related experience laying underground water lines, sanitary or storm sewers.
• Three plus years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical joint water line and valves; place air release valves.
• Grade for flow of sewer line pipe and align pipes for welding or sealing.
• Plan pipe installation or repair according to specifications.
• Inspect and test installed systems and pipe lines using hydrostatic tests.
• Perform backfill, grout manholes, and secure pipes to structures.
