Pipe Layer/Skilled Laborer (Line Division) - Concord

Position Overview

We are hiring for the roles of Pipe Layer and Skilled Laborer in our Line Division. These positions involve installing underground piping and supporting utility infrastructure projects.

Pay Range

Base pay ranges from $42,000 to $55,000 annually, depending on experience and abilities. Pipe Layer salaries range from $48,000 to $65,000 annually. Actual pay will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

1. Install various types of underground piping (ductile iron, PVC, steel, concrete)
2. Maintain grade using pipe laser equipment
3. Read blueprints and diagrams
4. Use trench shoring equipment safely

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of underground utility experience for Pipe Layer; entry-level training provided for Skilled Laborer
• Ability to pothole and assist excavator operators
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs (Pipe Layer) or 25 lbs routinely (Skilled Laborer)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong safety, communication, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel, work nights, weekends, and outdoors in extreme conditions
• High school diploma or GED preferred
