• Experience in pipe laying, trenching, or underground utility work.
• Ability to perform outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in trenches.
• Knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Excavate trenches and prepare sites for pipe installation.
• Lay, join, and secure pipe sections for water, sewer, or drainage systems.
• Use hand and power tools such as pipe cutters, wrenches, shovels, and trenchers.
• Align pipes correctly for proper flow and connection.
• Backfill trenches and compact soil to meet safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain a safe, efficient job site.
• Clean up work areas and equipment daily.
• Follow OSHA and company safety regulations; use PPE.
• Report hazards or incidents to supervisors.
• Collaborate with equipment operators, laborers, and supervisors.
