Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Pipe Layer Helper. Below are the main responsibilities for this position:

• Assist in laying ductile pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
• Assist in performing tasks such as grading trenches or culverts, positioning pipe, or sealing joints
• Frequently lift up to 75 lbs
• Perform physical labor tasks like shovel work and trench digging as part of commercial construction pipe laying
• Adhere to safety protocols and work in a drug-free environment

Qualifications

Education, Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

• 1+ years of Commercial Construction Pipe Laying Helper experience preferred
• Experience assisting with underground ductile iron piping required
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods
