Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking a Pipe Layer for heavy civil work in Greenville, SC. The role involves measuring and marking installation areas from conformed drawings, checking slopes with levels or lasers, installing lubricants and seals, and securing equipment and piping to structures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret plans.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark installation areas according to conformed drawings.
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
• Install lubricants, seals, gaskets, etc. for proper equipment operation.
• Secure equipment and piping to structures with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand tools or power tools.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the process of installing mechanical equipment / systems in water/wastewater plants.
• Must be able to read and interpret plans.
