Job summary

Joseph Gallagher Group is seeking experienced Pipelayers to join a major long-term civil engineering project. You will install underground pipework, drainage and utility systems, on a busy civils site, working with skilled crews to meet project specifications.

Candidates should have previous pipelayer or groundworker experience, CSCS card, and a strong commitment to safety. Competitive PAYE contract with travel and accommodation benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pipelayer or in a related civil role.
• Experience on utilities, drainage or construction projects.
• Solid understanding of trench safety and excavation practices.
• Commitment to health and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Install underground pipework and utility systems.
• Perform excavation, trenching and reinstatement activities.
• Assist with drainage, ducting and infrastructure installation.
• Work with plant operators and groundworks teams.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and site plans.
• Ensure works are completed safely and to project specifications.
• Maintain high health, safety and environmental standards.
• Support additional civil engineering tasks as required.
