Caton Construction Group is hiring a Pipe Layer for a roadway construction project in Hickory, NC. Responsibilities include laying pipes for storm sewers, drains, and water mains, with trenching, alignment, and joint sealing as core tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assembling and laying pipes for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.

Responsibilities

• Align pipes in pipeline sections.
• Dig trenches with trenching tools.
• Slide pipe into trenches and instruct tractor driver where to move pipe.
• Seal joints using cement or glue.
