AR Utilities & Excavation LLC is seeking dependable Pipe Layers for our underground utility construction crews in San Antonio, TX and surrounding areas. You will install water, sewer, storm drainage and fire protection piping.

Candidates should have pipe installation experience, be comfortable outdoors, and work well in a team. We offer OSHA-related training and opportunities for advancement, with competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous pipe-laying or underground utility construction experience preferred.
• Familiar with pipe installation, grades, and elevations.
• Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team.
• Reliable transportation to designated jobsites.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Install underground water, sewer, storm drainage, and fire protection piping.
• Assist with laying, aligning, and connecting PVC, ductile iron, HDPE, and concrete pipe.
• Install fittings, valves, hydrants, manholes, and other structures.
• Prepare trenches and install pipe bedding materials.
• Use pipe lasers, levels, and grade rods to maintain grades and elevations.
• Assist with backfilling, compaction, and general construction activities.
• Work with equipment operators and crew to maintain daily production.
• Follow safety policies and excavation procedures.

Job Description:

AR Utilities & Excavation LLC is seeking dependable, hardworking Pipe Layers to join our underground utility construction crews.

Our company specializes in the installation of underground water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and fire protection systems for commercial and civil construction projects.

Previous underground utility construction experience is preferred. We are looking for individuals who are familiar with pipe installation, enjoy working outdoors, and take pride in their work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install underground water, sewer, storm drainage, and fire protection piping.
• Assist with laying, aligning, and connecting PVC, ductile iron, HDPE, and concrete pipe.
• Install fittings, valves, fire hydrants, manholes, and other utility structures.
• Prepare trenches and install pipe bedding materials.
• Use pipe lasers, levels, and grade rods to maintain proper pipe grades and elevations.
• Assist with backfilling, compaction, and general construction activities.
• Work alongside equipment operators and other crew members to maintain daily production.
• Follow company safety policies and excavation safety procedures.
