AR Utilities & Excavation LLC is seeking dependable pipe layers to join our underground utility construction crews in San Antonio, TX. You will install underground water, sewer, storm drainage, and fire protection piping on commercial and civil projects.

We prefer candidates with previous underground utility construction experience, the ability to read grades, and familiarity with different pipe types. This full-time role demands outdoor work, teamwork, and reliability, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous pipe-laying or underground utility construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read grades and elevations.
• Experience with pipe installation and various pipe types.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Install underground water, sewer, storm drainage, and fire protection piping.
• Assist with laying, aligning, and connecting PVC, ductile iron, HDPE, and concrete pipe.
• Install fittings, valves, fire hydrants, manholes, and other utility structures.
• Prepare trenches and install pipe bedding materials.
• Use pipe lasers, levels, and grade rods to maintain proper pipe grades and elevations.
• Assist with backfilling, compaction, and general construction activities.
• Work alongside equipment operators and other crew members to maintain daily production.
• Follow company safety policies and excavation safety procedures.

Job Description:

AR Utilities & Excavation LLC is seeking dependable, hardworking Pipe Layers to join our underground utility construction crews.

Our company specializes in the installation of underground water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and fire protection systems for commercial and civil construction projects.

Previous underground utility construction experience is preferred.

We are looking for individuals who are familiar with pipe installation, enjoy working outdoors, and take pride in their work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install underground water, sewer, storm drainage, and fire protection piping.
