Job summary

Stuart Hose & Pipe, a SunSource company, is seeking a Pipe Table Operator / Industrial Hose Fabricator to join our shop in Fort Worth. This hands-on role cuts, threads, and grooms pipe and fabricates heavy-duty hose assemblies, using RIDGID threading machines and crimpers.

You will read a tape measure to 1/16 inch, lift 50–75 lbs, and maintain a safe, clean fabrication area on a Monday–Friday day shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in pipe fabrication, industrial hose assembly, machine operation, or metal shop production.
• Proven experience operating pipe threading/grooving machines (RIDGID or similar) and power cutting saws.
• Must be able to read a standard tape measure down to 1/16" and use basic gauges/calipers.
• Heavy industrial environment; must be comfortable lifting 50-75 lbs occasionally, and standing through the shift.

Responsibilities

• Pipe Processing: Measure, cut, bevel, thread, and roll-groove carbon steel, stainless, and galvanized pipe with threading machines.
• Hose Fabrication: Cut hoses to exact lengths and attach fittings using clamps or crimpers.
• Quality Inspection: Verify cut lengths, thread engagement, groove depths, and crimp diameters.
• Shop Safety & Upkeep: Perform pre-shift checks, manage oils, blades and maintain a clean area.
• Material Handling: Move pipe bundles, hose reels, and finished assemblies using equipment.
