Job summary

Ames Construction, Inc. seeks a Pipe Foreman to lead underground utility crews on heavy civil projects in Denver, ensuring safe and compliant installation of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water mains, and related structures.

You will coordinate daily activities, equipment, materials and personnel to meet plans, specs, and production goals while mentoring crew members and enforcing safety and quality standards, with opportunities for ESOP participation and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years underground utility construction experience.
• Minimum of 2 years leading pipe crews or foreman-level role.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.
• Ability to work with power and non-power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

This role coordinates daily work activities, equipment, materials, and personnel to ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, quality standards, and production goals.**Key Duties and Responsibilities**Monitor trench safety, excavation procedures, utility locating requirements, and proper shoring practices.**Qualifications**Minimum of 5 years of underground utility construction experience.Minimum of 2 years of experience leading pipe crews or serving in a foreman-level role.Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.Knowledge of trenching, excavation, grading, and utility construction methods.Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-power tools.Positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills.Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.* Base salary range is $125,,000-$142,000 a year, which varies depending on many factors, including experience, skills, and knowledge.* This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.* Ames offers generous retirement benefits, including Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) participation and a 401k match.* Ames' non-craft health benefits package is designed so that our team members flourish, with medical, dental, and vision (all at one low premium), voluntary benefits, company holidays, and paid time off.
