This role coordinates daily work activities, equipment, materials, and personnel to ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, quality standards, and production goals.**Key Duties and Responsibilities**Monitor trench safety, excavation procedures, utility locating requirements, and proper shoring practices.**Qualifications**Minimum of 5 years of underground utility construction experience.Minimum of 2 years of experience leading pipe crews or serving in a foreman-level role.Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.Knowledge of trenching, excavation, grading, and utility construction methods.Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-power tools.Positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills.Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.* Base salary range is $125,,000-$142,000 a year, which varies depending on many factors, including experience, skills, and knowledge.* This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.* Ames offers generous retirement benefits, including Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) participation and a 401k match.* Ames' non-craft health benefits package is designed so that our team members flourish, with medical, dental, and vision (all at one low premium), voluntary benefits, company holidays, and paid time off.
