Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Pipefitter skilled in fitting/welding stainless or carbon steel. The role involves:

• Fitting, threading, or bolting carbon pipes
• Preparing piping for welding
• Reading blueprints and shop drawings
• Cleaning debris and hazardous materials from pipes
• Installing piping supports
• Experience with hydronic systems
• Welding carbon and stainless steel pipes
• Certification or qualification to weld pipe in the 6G position with open root full penetration

The Work

This project is located in north Portland at a Water Waste Water Treatment Facility. It involves new construction, with over 50% of work at prevailing wages. Our projects range from apartments and hotels to schools and industrial facilities.

Wages for this project are $47.53/hour plus a fringe package of $32.57. Wages on other projects depend on skills and experience and are negotiated prior to employment.
