You will work closely with a pipe fitter, mounting hangers, installing valves and fittings, and supporting maintenance as needed. requirements include a minimum six-month experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to travel to multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum six-months pipe fitting helper experience or equivalent vocational training and experience.
• Able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must multi-task, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Must adhere to all company policy and procedure.
• Must be available and able to report to multiple job sites as assigned, with varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold pipe.
• Assists pipe fitter to install valves, couplings, and other fittings.
• May disassemble and remove damaged or unused pipe.
• Cuts and grinds pipe.
• Assists maintenance in changing hubs and rollers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
