Comfort Systems USA Mid South is seeking a Pipe Fitter Apprentice III with at least 2 years of pipe fitting or pipe welding experience in HVAC for commercial construction. The role blends field and pipe shop work, offering growth and development within a safety-driven environment.

Responsibilities include assisting senior fitters, installing piping (carbon steel, copper), reading blueprints, and performing basic welding tasks (TIG/FLUX/STICK) under supervision. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and piping components.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.
• Welding tasks: TIG, FLUX, STICK as required.
• Welding certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior pipe fitters with installation and repair of piping systems.
• Install carbon steel, copper, and other piping under supervision.
• Perform basic welding tasks as required (TIG, FLUX, STICK).
• Read blueprints, drawings, and schematics for HVAC piping layouts.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and tools.
