In this role, you will be responsible for threading pipe, fabricating and installing screw pipe and stainless tubing, and ensuring the integrity of installed systems through thorough inspection and testing. You will work with a variety of tools and follow blueprints to lay out pipe systems. Job description

QB Johnson is seeking a Pipe Fitter who will thread pipe, using P & ID and instrumentation.

Job Requirements:

1. Fabricate and install screw pipe and stainless tubing.
2. Cut and bore holes in structures prior to pipe installation, using hand and power tools.
3. Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threads and benders.
4. Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, and observation.
5. Lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.
