Job summary

Armicontractors in LaFayette, Georgia, is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to perform tasks such as interpreting blueprints, cutting and threading pipes, and assembling plumbing systems. Ideal candidates will have trade school education and at least 2 years of experience in drawing isometric drawings. The position may require travel and the ability to lift heavy materials. How you will make an impact

• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials
• Proficient in pulling measurements and making takeoffs
• Draw and interpret isometric drawings
• Cut and thread pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe-threaders and benders
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods
• Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
• Assist with other welders and fitters as needed on job sites
• Cleans up job sites after completion
